Author Fun

Annie over at Circumlocution has a fun little author game. Here's the rules: given a list of ten authors, remove the names of those whose books do not grace your shelves, and replace with as many names of those whose works you do own as needed to bring the total back up to ten. The second paragraph contains the new authors. As I'm at college and therefore berift of my full library, I'll restrict this to those books I actually have on my shelves here at skool, with some of my favorites that, alas, I have only at home being segregated into a third paragraph.

J.K. Rowling

J.R.R. Tolkien
Joseph Heller
Nick Hornby
Ray Bradbury
David Foster Wallace
William Goldman
Aldous Huxley

Kurt Vonnegut
George Orwell

Feel free to post your own list in the comments or on your own blog.

THING I LEARNED PUTTING UP THIS POST: The entirety of Huxley's Brave New World is online, as is all of Orwell's 1984.
