Something That Won't Be Appearing On Blogger's Frontpage

Recently Blogger's been putting posts along the lines of "Blogger/Blogging's so wonderful" on the blogger dashboard (sorry, you can only see these if you use blogger yourself, so I can't link to them). But now, via Jim Capozzola at the Rittenhouse Review comes word that the term "Blog" and everything associated with it has been, or should be, forcibly excized from the English language.

BLOG – and its variations, including blogger, blogged, blogging, blogosphere. Many who nominated it were unsure of the meaning. Sounds like something your mother would slap you for saying.
