IDiot Columnist At The Daily Illini

Dan Mollison's column today attempts to force me onto blood pressure medication by suggesting that there actually is a possibility of compromise between the Discovery Institute's brand of creationism and the scientific theory of evolution. Here's a hint: Intelligent Design doesn't even make the criteria for a valid hypothesis, so incorporating ID into any definition of science entails throwing the Scientific Method out the window. The choice is between science and pseudoscience, and there is no middle ground.

The DI really needs some science majors to bash skulls. While I realize that columnists get wide latitude in what they publish, this just falls under the category of "stupid (preventable)."
