Progress So Far

I'm only partway through Eric the Young Earth Creationist's most recent response. One of the reasons that my progress is so slow is that I'm looking stuff up while I'm reading it so I can call him on his crap later. So far, he's quote-mined the Bible ("One does not thump the book of G'Quan," anyone?), claimed that a publication that has a Statement of Faith is an impartial, peer-reviewed journal, and made a bunch of claims about "bad" radiometric datings that are based on some guy using procedures that are demonstrably faulty and then, arguably, intentionally misconstruing his results.

He ain't doing that good.

I'm currently at what I presume to be his first bout of scientific quote mining, since I have to track down what the real quotes are. I'm not holding out much hope on his behalf, though.

UPDATE, 1552 Tues, 6 Dec: I've crawled through to the point where Eric starts spouting off about eugenics as if it somehow has any bering on the modern theory of evolution. Scores great on rhetoric, but low on reason.

UPDATE, 0115 Wed, 7 Dec: I'm done reading the whole thing and have started on my response. This back and forth is starting to approach novella status. Don't say you weren't warned, though.
