Great Graf In The DI's Chief Article

I beat up on the DI quite regularly, so I thought I should recognize them for this little tidbit:
In June 2004, the school's Board of Trustees refused to embrace or reject the mascot and instead called on supporters and opponents to bring the issue to a "consensus conclusion." The Board has never subsequently defined what would be a "consensus conclusion" but maintains that the process of reaching it is ongoing.
Ah, yes, the BOT's preferred method saying they're doing something while doing nothing at all. More attention like this needs to be put on the BOT's glorification of nothing while saying they are actually doing something. If the DI keeps this up, pretty soon I'll get to read a story on how BOT Chairman Eppley isn't wearing any clothes...
